The Quin Within app serves as the central platform for managing your Quin account, connected protective gear, emergency contacts, Medical ID, Quin plus membership, safety preferences and services.
Quin Pod
The Quin Within app is required as the Quin Pod detects the crash event but your phone provides the location and sends the emergency alerts. They work as a pair.
Quin Tag
You will only need the Quin Within app to set up and update your Medical ID imprinted on the Quin Tag. After that, the Tag works on its own. On event of a crash event, any responder who finds you can tap on the Quin Tag on your protective gear with their phone to access your critical medical information & emergency contacts. Responders do not need the Quin Within app and neither do you in that moment.
