Unfortunately, due to the nature of the activity and environment where the protective gear is used the Quin Pod has to be calibrated for every product.
Every partner product is tested and calibrated in our own labs. Critical event detection depends on the gear's design, where the Quin Pod sits in the gear, how it moves and what the gear is used for. A crash on a motorcycle doesn't look like a fall from a ladder. Calibration is what makes detection accurate, and what stops it firing when nothing's wrong.
This is why the Quin Pod isn't sold as a universal aftermarket device, and only works with approved protective gear from our partner brands. If you want the option to add the Quin Pod later, look for Quin Ready protective gear.
